Refund Policy for BridgeSkill Academy

1. Introduction

At BridgeSkill Academy, we are committed to providing a high-quality educational experience.

However, we understand that there may be circumstances where a refund is requested. This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which refunds will be granted for courses purchased on our website, bridge-skill-academy.com.

BridgeSkill Academy is operated by an individual trading under the name ‘BridgeSkill Academy’ in the United Kingdom, and operates as an independent online education provider.

By purchasing our courses, you agree to the terms outlined in this Refund Policy. Please read the policy carefully before making a purchase.

2. Eligibility for Refunds

Refunds will be considered only under the following conditions:

2.1. 14-Day Refund Period

    • You may request a refund within 14 days of your course purchase date.
    • The refund request must be made within 14 days from the date of purchase to be eligible for a refund.

2.2. Access to Digital Content and Substantial Use 

    • Refunds will only be granted if the course content has not been substantially used.
    • Access to digital course content is granted immediately after purchase.
    • By purchasing, users consent to immediate access and acknowledge that the statutory 14-day cancellation right may be lost once substantial use occurs.
    • No refunds are permitted once the final exam has been attempted or a certificate has been issued.
    • Substantial use includes, but is not limited to:

Attempting or completing the final exam. Issuance of a course completion certificate.

These are framed as evidence of substantial use, but not the sole legal triggers for denying refunds.

    • Attempting the final exam OR receiving a certificate permanently voids refund eligibility.
    • Refunds are not available once the course has been substantially used.

2.3. Course Not as Described

    • If the course does not meet the description provided on the website (e.g., incorrect content, missing modules), a full refund will be granted if the claim is made within the refund period.
    • To request a refund on this basis, you must provide a detailed explanation and evidence showing that the course content is materially different from the advertised description.

3. Process for Requesting a Refund

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

    1. Contact Us: Send an email to info@bridge-skill-academy.com within the 14-day period. Include the following details in your request:
    • Your full name and email address used for the purchase; The course name; The reason for the refund request; Any relevant supporting information (e.g., screenshots, course progress)
    1. Review: Upon receiving your refund request, we will review it to ensure it meets the criteria for a refund as outlined in this policy.
    2. Approval/Denial: Once your refund request has been reviewed, we will notify you of our decision within 7 business days. If approved, the refund will be processed.
    3. Refund Issuance: Refunds will be processed through the same payment method used to purchase the course. Please note that it may take up to 10 business days for the refund to appear on your account, depending on the payment provider.

4. Non-Refundable Situations

The following situations are not eligible for a refund:

    • Completion of Course: If you have fully completed the course (e.g., accessed all course materials, completed assignments, or received a certificate), no refund will be granted.
    • Time Limit Exceeded: Refund requests made after the 14-day period will not be considered.
    • Change of Mind: If you change your mind about taking the course after purchasing it, no refund will be issued.
    • Course Access or Account Suspension Due to Violation of Terms: If your account has been suspended or terminated due to a violation of our Terms and Conditions, you will not be eligible for a refund.

5. No Partial Refunds

The following is clarified in Section 5 (Partial Refunds):

    • Any refunds outside the main policy are entirely discretionary.
    • No pro-rata or formula-based refunds will be applied.

Refunds will only be issued in accordance with the main refund policy and at the discretion of BridgeSkill Academy.

6. “Change of Mind” Clarification

Refunds are not granted after substantial use of the digital content.

7. Premium Bundle – 3-Month Student Outcome Refund

This section applies only to users who have purchased the Premium Bundle.

This refund option is separate from the 14-day statutory refund period and applies only after certification, subject to the conditions below.

 

7.1 Eligibility Period

A refund may be requested only after:

• Completion of the programme and issuance of a certificate

• 3 full consecutive academic months

 

Academic months are defined as:
September, October, November, December, January, February, March, April, May, June.
July and August are excluded and do not count toward the 3-month period.
The counting period begins on the first day of the next academic month following certification.
A refund request must be submitted within 14 days after the end of the 3 academic month period.
Requests submitted after this deadline will not be considered.

7.2 Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for this refund, the user must:

1. Complete the full programme and obtain certification.
2. Make a minimum of 90 documented outreach attempts to potential UK students during the 3 academic months.
3. Respond to all student messages and enquiries within 24 hours during the eligibility period.
4. Provide documented proof of:
• Outreach attempts
• Platform activity
• Communication history
• Profile status
Failure to meet any of the above conditions voids refund eligibility.

7.3 Definition of Outreach

An outreach attempt is defined as:

• A direct, documented message sent to a potential UK student

• Related to a genuine tutoring opportunity

Spam messaging or non-serious applications will not qualify. 

 

7.4 Acceptable Documentation

To support a refund request, the user must provide clear and verifiable documentation, including but not limited to:

• Screenshots of outreach messages with visible timestamps

• Platform dashboards showing a platform activity

• Evidence of active tutoring profiles on UK tutoring platforms

• Message logs demonstrating response times

• Any additional documentary reasonably required by BridgeSkill Academy

Incomplete, misleading, or altered documentation will result in automatic rejection of the refund request. 

 

7.5 Refund Scope

If all eligibility requirements are met and no UK tutoring income has been generated during the 3 academic months, the user may apply for a refund of the Premium Bundle purchase price.

BridgeSkill Academy reserves the right to review all submitted documentation before approving any refund request.

Refund approval is conditional upon full compliance with all participation requirements.

  

7.6 Exclusions

This refund does not apply if:

• The user fails to complete certification

• Required outreach volume is not met

• Documentation is incomplete or misleadi

• The user receives tutoring income from UK students during the eligibility period

• Platform accounts are inactive, incomplete, or non-compliant

 

8. No Refunds for Other Services

Refunds are only applicable to course purchases. Any other services, such as one-to-one support, supplementary resources, or additional services offered by BridgeSkill Academy, are non-refundable unless specifically stated otherwise.

9. Limitation of Liability

BridgeSkill Academy is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our courses, website, or services. Our liability is limited to the amount paid by you for the course or service in question.

10. Modification of Refund Policy

BridgeSkill Academy reserves the right to modify or update this Refund Policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. We recommend reviewing this policy periodically for any updates.
